Did you know…it takes nearly $30,000 of annual income to hold our 4 day Rose Festival?  While income is made through fun zone tickets and other event admissions, we also look to our community and surrounding area businesses and individuals’ contributions to help make a fun, event-filled Rose Festival.  Each year we strive to improve upon these events, and this year isn’t any different…imagine a longer, more continuous fireworks show!!  A larger Kid’s RoseZone at the library with many free events!!  A unique and action-packed Rockin the Depot!  These are all possible with the generous support we receive!

Individuals, families, or businesses interested in providing monetary sponsorship for the 2021 Rose Festival are always welcomed and appreciated.  If you have not yet donated and are interested in doing so, please review the information below:

The generous support that businesses have provided in the past continues to help make this one of Iowa’s greatest annual festivals, and allows us another way to showcase the beauty our community holds.  As we plan the 2021 celebration, we hope we can add you to our list of sponsors!  You can download a donation form here: Business Donation Letter 2021.

Your valued donations will be used for such things as securing family entertainment to putting on a beautiful Rose Queen pageant and to putting on a spectacular, enhanced fireworks show!  As a non-profit association, our Rose Festival Board depends on donations to ensure we bring in quality attractions and fun activities for all to enjoy throughout the weekend.  Your generosity will not go unnoticed, and all sponsors will appear on our web site and be recognized on the events brochure.  Additionally, the following extras are included based on your level of sponsorship:

Red Rose Supporter: Donations of $1,000 or more

• Business name displayed on signage throughout the entire Rose Festival
• Appear on the Rose Queen Pageant program
• Business name printed on a BBQ Champion Banner
• Have your business name announced at the Truck Pull
• Receive a free parade entry
• Listed on the Rose Festival website

Yellow Rose Supporter: Donations of $500-$999

• Business name displayed on signage throughout the entire Rose Festival
• Business name printed on a BBQ Champion Banner
• Have your business name announced at the Truck Pull
• Receive a free parade entry
• Listed on the Rose Festival website

White Rose Supporter: Donations of $100-$499

• Receive a free parade entry
• Listed on the Rose Festival website

While there are a wide variety of events and needs your donations will help support and fund, as a business owner you can also choose to sponsor a particular event.  If this is something you would prefer to do, you can indicate your preference on the donation sheet.  Should you not wish to designate anything specific, your donation will be added to the general use fund.

In order to ensure you or your business are recognized on our printed brochure, ALL checks be returned with the donation sheet by June 1, 2021.
